The Legend of Mermaid 2 2021

Many years ago the beautiful, enchanting mermaid Xi Yin (Very Qui) saved the valiant and righteous Imperial human guardsman Yan Lie (Liang Tie Wei) from certain doom. Gradually and over time, the enchanting mermaid and the human guardsman grew to fall in love with one another. But unfortunately their love-story would not have a happy ending and ended in sadness and heartache, as the mermaid would eventually return to her watery home beneath the endless depths of the ocean. It was rumored that the mermaid was in possession of a priceless and magical treasure and that she brought it back with her to the watery depths, and the ruthless and calculating Imperial concubine Shen Mei (Sun Zi Jun) is eager to claim this magical treasure for herself, at any cost.Shen Mei concocts a most devious and villainous plot that involves taking guardsman Yan Lie back to the enchanted island where he once spent time with his beloved mermaid Xi Yun. Shen Mei firmly believes guardsman Yan Lie is the sole key to accessing and claiming the magical treasure of the mermaid, even if it means spilling Yan Lie's blood. Once guardsman Yan Lie is reunited with the mermaid Xi Yin, whom is the love of his life, the mermaid, oddly enough, seems to have no memory of the human, nor of their precious time spent together as lover, as if they never met. Shen Mei sets out to claim what she came for. Will the ruthless Imperial concubine succeed in her villainous plan, or will the two former lovers reunite and save the world from an ensuing catastrophe at the hands of Shen Mei?
